Out of all the things to fear in the world, it's not the creepy, crawly spiders or the slithery, slimy snakes that get to me. Oh, I could do without the ladders, or the clowns, or the sharp objects of course... But the thing that keeps me up at night, tossing and turning, the fear festering in the back of my mind all the time, is the fear of being average. The fear of being overlooked, of being ordinary, of being forgotten... The fear of, after working so hard my entire life to find myself, to make myself, to accomplish anything at all... just blending in with all the rest, another face in the crowd.
