Can You Feel It?
Can you, can you feel it?
That sudden rush of cold,
Goosebumps on your arms,
The loss of your control.
Can you, can you hear it?
That high-pitched, screaching sound,
Those voices whispering in your ears
Things utterly profound.
Can you, can you see it?
The destruction, the fire, and rage.
Can you, can you believe it?
Does it not make you feel enraged?
Please tell me you won't ignore it,
Sit there, do your very best to pretend,
You know that you could stop this,
You could be our god-send.
God, you must have a clear view up there,
Or are the clouds blocking us from sight?
I wonder when you'll step in,
To help us end this bloody fight.
That sudden rush of cold,
Goosebumps on your arms,
The loss of your control.
Can you, can you hear it?
That high-pitched, screaching sound,
Those voices whispering in your ears
Things utterly profound.
Can you, can you see it?
The destruction, the fire, and rage.
Can you, can you believe it?
Does it not make you feel enraged?
Please tell me you won't ignore it,
Sit there, do your very best to pretend,
You know that you could stop this,
