It's been awhile, but I promise I'm still keeping busy. Although I don't have the time to update everything that I would like to at this exact moment, here's a glimpse at what I have been filling my days with. More too come soon. Seamlessly Warped is getting a makeover - but that's just the beginning! As I'm revamping, I'll also be adding new content and reorganizing things a bit to get rid of the clutter. In the mean time, please be patient if you happen to run into any kinks in the site and remember that Seamlessly Warped 2.0 is on it's way.
Stay Golden, Liz Decided to whip up a cover photo for my favorite crusty old man, the poet laureate of skid row, Bukowski. Feel free to use it for your Facebook profile or other social media accounts if you feel so inclined.

There's something about bruises that I find incredibly beautiful. For some reason, the deep blues and purples always reminded me of space when I was a kid. That being said, I can't help but smile in wonder as I quote Rumi. "Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you... Everything in the universe is within you. Ask all from yourself."
With a little bit of discoloration, we are reminded of our fragility, but put into this poetic context, these contusions take on a new meaning. Yes, we are human, but it is important to remember that we are children of the universe. Within us we carry an infinite potential. " You are a manuscript of a divine letter. You are a mirror reflecting a noble face. This universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you are already that." Remember that. |
